Q: What exactly is AoCdps.com?
A: AoCdps is a project, created for processing and calculation of data, extracted from combat logs of MMORPG Age of Conan.

Q: How does it work?
A: You download our client software on your PC that will take care about processing of your combat logs. After that within the client you upload processed report of your log to our server, using the server account.

Q: Why do you use client software?
A: Uploading and processing of complex log files for hundreds of users puts enormous stress on the server subsystem. Therefore, to be able to provide a high-quality and robust service, we decided to use the client that will use your PC to process the data and then upload the processed data to the server.

Q: Why do you use Java?
A: It’s a perfectly fitting solution for our tasks and convenient environment for customers. You will not need to update the software manually, as everything will be done automatically as soon as you start the log processing. You will not need to search for the software in countless folders on your PC, instead you can go directly to our site and use the client and statistics immediately.

Q: How do I save a combat log?
A: To start the log you need to enter the following command in the chat window of the game:

/logcombat on
and to stop logging you need to enter:
/logcombat off
Combat logs will be stored in the root game directory.
For example:
C:\Games\Age of Conan\CombatLog-2008-05-23_1011.txt

Q: How to upload my combat log?
A: You need to create an account on our site. After that you need to go to Create report section and press Upload Report button. Enter your login and password for your account in the prompt window, press Upload button and add your combat log. After uploading is done, you are automatically redirected to the report management page. Do not forget to add a commentary and choose the category, then press the Add button and your report is ready!

Q: Client does not work, what to do?
A: You need to install JavaSoftware to use our service. On the first launch of client, you should select trust to the software. Check your Java settings: Control Panel->Java->Advanced, you should select next boxes:

  • JNLP file/MIME Association
    • Prompt user
  • Security
    • Allow user to grant permission to signed content
    Allow user to grant permission to content from an untrusted authority
    Allow user to accept JNLP security requests

    Q: After uploading is done, I am redirected to Manage Reports section, right?
    A: Yes, Manage Reports section allows you to tune and manage your reports. Here you can delete reports, limit access permissions, add commentary and adjust players and monsters lists. We strongly recommend to check if player classes were correctly determined by the software immediately after uploading, and add necessary commentary to avoid confusion in the future.

    Q: There is no information about my guild or server in the report!
    A: You need to setup Age of Conan information in My Account section.

    Q: How can I delete my report?
    A: From report management page (Manage Reports), choose the report you want to delete and move it to recycle bin . After that you can either delete it permanently or restore it .

    Q: What can I do with Link button?
    A: With this button you can create a direct link to any chosen report. Right click on the Link icon and choose Copy Link option to copy the direct link to your clipboard.

    Q: Why my reports do not stay on the server forever?
    A: The time limit is there to maintain a high speed of the service.
